While I get to work with amazing photographers on my clients’ weddings, I rarely get in front of the camera for anything. But, Invision is currently going through a re-branding and so I decided that now is the time to do a personal photo shoot.
Enter Julie Lowry of Chanterelle Photography. Julie has been the genius behind the lens of some of my favorite weddings and I’ve been an admirer of her work for quite some time. If I could give you my take on her work it would be natural, unassuming and understated. Some of my favorite descriptive words. I’ve never been one for over doing anything. So, her style fits me perfectly.
We met at one of the best wedding venues around, The Waters, and I let her work her magic. We did a few serious ones, some fun ones and, because we are talking about me, some goofy ones. It was a fun time and I’m actually starting to think that being in front of a camera isn’t quite as bad as I’ve made it out to be in my mind.
Here’s a few from our session. I highly recommend you check out more of her work on her site: www.ChanterellePhotography.com. She’s fun, stylish, smart and really good at what she does. Many thanks, Julie! I had a blast!
