Rehearsing style

I have been to many rehearsals and rehearsal dinners. The room was gorgeous, the food was great and the bride looked beautiful. I am very traditional when it comes to rehearsal dinner wear for the bride-to-be. There are few times when everyone’s eyes are on you and you are the center of attention. Why not wear white for the rehearsal too? I know that some people just wear something that they have in their closet for the rehearsal, but why not splurge a little for that perfect dress. Hey, it’s the one night when all eyes and attention will be on you and your fiancé. Buying a new dress doesn’t mean you have to dip into your savings account. I mean, unless that’s what you want to do. I found a few pretty rehearsal dinner dress options in all price ranges. Whether you have $50 or $250 to spend, if you look hard enough, you will find that perfect little white dress.

Forever 21 Essential Paneled Lace Dress

Yes, it’s a steal! $13.99. I repeat, $13.99! I am an absolute sucker for lace, and this is gorgeous. It looks like it would cost over $200. The sheer short sleeves are a delicate touch. If your wedding dress doesn’t have lace on it, why not wear a lace ensemble for the rehearsal?

UNDER $100

Calvin Klein, Sleeveless Belted Sheath

I found this at Macy’s for $89.98. This is a classic; nothing fancy, but beautifully simple. It’s the perfect length and the skinny tan belt is the perfect detail. Pair it with a pair of colorful pumps, a statement necklace or a bold bracelet. It is basically a blank canvas and can be dressed up or down as you choose.

Parker Shift Dress with Architect Beads

I love anything and everything that sparkles. This dress is a splurge for $396, but oh so beautiful. Hey, it’s part of your wedding, so why not? It has a round neck, keyhole back and beading all over. Maybe if your wedding dress is all lace or doesn’t have a lot of beading, you can get your sparkle fix the night before at the rehearsal dinner.
