Bridal shows, room designs and giveaways… Oh, my!

February is still part of the height of bridal show season and sometimes a girl can get overwhelmed with all that is going on. Not me, of course. But, I feel for the bride who might get bridal show fatigue. Not to worry! I’ve got great news for you!

I was so honored to have been asked to be a part of the National Infantry Museum‘s first Bride To Be Celebration this Sunday, February 24 at 6:00 PM. It is a bridal show with a little bit of a twist. The museum is a gorgeous building that has various spots to hold a wedding. But, since it is vast, the smart folks at the museum decided to give different designers the chance to decorate certain spots as though it were for a wedding. That way, guests can experience the building as if it were an event as opposed to just shopping vendors with booths set up around everywhere. One designer will decorate the foyer like a ceremony, one designer will decorate the Grand Gallery like a wedding reception. I have chosen the beautiful Continental Room near the restaurant to turn into a rehearsal dinner setting. I’m really excited about it!

To go along with this great event, I have a fabulous giveaway to tell you about. It’s Your Day Catering (the onsite caterer for the museum as well as being a premier off-site caterer) is offering our readers a free menu tasting which I am pairing with a free design consultation from Invision Events! Their food is beyond awesome. I’ve included some photos of their work which is really just a tease since you can’t eat these photos.

Here’s the fine print on the giveaway:

1. The tasting must be used by Dec. 31, 2013 for up to 6 guests.
2. While It’s Your Day can cater your wedding nearly anywhere, the tasting will be held at The National Infantry Museum at Ft. Benning.
3. The design consultation is to be used along with the tasting at the same time. No separate consultations are offered with this giveaway.
