Laura and Tim: A sweet, southern wedding {The Reserve at Oak Bowery, Opelika, Ala.}

I remember when Laura’s sweet mother, Susan, called me about their upcoming April wedding. It was clear that all she wanted was her daughter to have the special day that every bride deserved. I remember it because there was something in her voice and the way she talked. It was almost comforting to me, when she was calling me to get comfort about having their wedding day go well!

But, I soon found out that the comfort and love that Susan showed (over the phone!) was just a sign of what was to come throughout their wedding. Laura and Tim had a small wedding at an old southern plantation in Opelika, Alabama – The Reserve at Oak Bowery. Using the gorgeous grounds for a country styled wedding, you couldn’t help feeling like one of the family. And that’s how they treated everyone at their wedding! I couldn’t get enough of watching Tim dote on Laura. Every time he looked at her, you could see that he was the happiest guy in the world! Working with these folks was more than a breeze. It’s what makes me love my job.

Other things I loved: The church pews in the ceremony. Rebecca and the team at P.E.W.S. were amazing! The tree planting as opposed to a unity candle in the ceremony honoring Laura’s late father. Laura wearing her mother’s veil. The wedding party! They were so fun!

Many thanks to Sarah Marie Photos for the gorgeous images. It was a pleasure to work with y’all! A huge congratulations to Laura and Tim! Y’all are some of the best folks around. I loved your wedding and wish you nothing but the best that life has to offer.

Until next time… XOXO, Julie

    Thanks for the wonderful comments. The day would not have been so special without your and Courtney’s help. You made sure that everything,
    and everybody was in place at the right time. I could not have any more pleased with the results from beginning to end! Thanks again, and thumbs up to you and your team!
