Wynn and Matthew: A fresh lake wedding {Children’s Chapel | The Ridge Clubhouse | Lake Martin, Alabama}

To say that 2015 has been absolutely amazing would be a complete understatement. The clients I have been privileged to work with this year have been a blessing beyond belief and each bride has brought her own unique strengths, abilities and personality to share with me. It has been a true joy getting to know each and everyone of these ladies, and Wynn is no exception.

When I first met Wynn and her mom, I knew she was going to be a dream to work with. She is so well spoken and easy to get along with and while she is matter-of-fact with the thought that she knows what she wants, she is so mild mannered and soft spoken. I literally wanted to put her in my pocket and just take her everywhere with me!

Wynn and Matt were married at Children’s Harbor on May 2nd in a sweet and intimate, family oriented ceremony. The weather that day on Lake Martin could not have been more perfect. It was sunny, warm, and just breezy enough. After saying their vows, the newlyweds met up with 350 of their favorite people for a beautiful and joyful reception at The Ridge Club.

The food and service from Daveena and her team at Super Suppers was impeccable. The crowd jammed all night to the sounds of Massive Impact (a new favorite of mine) and later enjoyed a delicious bite of cake compliments of Peggy McKinney.

Wynn was stunning in her Anne Barge gown from Birmingham’s very own The White Room. She was truly a vision and the style and class she exuded had me comparing her to Jackie Kennedy. Tyler Caldwell with Kim Box Photography captured the essence of the day just perfectly and one of our very favorites, PropHouse, added just the right finishing touches.

Wynn, it was a pleasure getting to know you and Matt and serving you on your wedding day. We hope you two are enjoying every bit of your new married life together and that our paths cross soon.
