I am thrilled to have Jessica from Empress Stationery guest blogging for us! We love everything they do and how they create gorgeous paper suites for our brides. Her feminine southern style is perfect. Thank you for what you do Jessica! – XOXO, Julie

NewHeadshot_609 (2)Hi there! My name is Jessica, and I’m the owner and principle creative at Empress Stationery. I’m so thrilled to be guest blogging for Invision Events, and today’s topic is all about timing! There are several factors to consider when scheduling your wedding paper, and I’ll be walking through the different pieces and the timeframe for each.

Your wedding paper is the first thing your guests will see leading up to your big day! Planning your mail-out dates is just as important for you as it is for your attendees who will potentially be booking travel dates based on your save the date and/or invitation. Even if traveling is not necessary for your guest, you want to be sure they put you on their calendar.

The timeline below is based on the average engagement of a year. If you’re over or under, just adjust according to your needs and your guests.

Let’s get started!
