I can’t admit to starting a new year with lists of resolutions. For whatever reason, I don’t make lists like that. This doesn’t mean that I don’t look forward to the new year with excitement. I love the feeling of coming out of the holiday rush with a new attitude and expectations of what is to come. And now, with nearly 2 weeks of this new year behind us, I couldn’t help but dig a little deeper into what our upcoming year is going to look like.

 

This year, we’ve decided to debut our Destination Planning package listing along with our regular packages. We’ve been planning destination weddings for as long as we’ve been in business. But, we thought that defining what that looked like for a bride would make more sense for anyone considering a remote location for their wedding.

One reason that we decided to make this listing official is that we have unique advantages for the destination bride. One is being situated in and around Atlanta – home to the busiest airport in the world. I can’t say enough about what a godsend the Atlanta airport can be. I never have to worry about finding a flight, and almost always a direct flight, to anywhere. Whether it’s visiting one of our clients and their wedding destination or simply visiting my family which is scattered around the nation, I know I can get anywhere I need to be.

Secondly, we thrive off of seeing and experiencing new things. I have worked tirelessly to base Invision’s viewpoint on weddings as a classic and timeless style that transcends trends. A southern bride would be at home with us just as much as someone from California, Europe or beyond. I firmly believe that viewpoint wouldn’t be possible without being open to the wonderfully diverse world around us.

And lastly, we’ve worked on extending our professional network far beyond our local settings. Don’t get us wrong: if we can work it to where we travel with the folks we love working with here, we will! But, we’ve so enjoyed meeting and working with vendors from all over the nation. We’d love to introduce them to you!
