After a rainy and stormy night before, the blue skies and fresh air on the morning of Chapple and Bo’s wedding couldn’t have been sweeter. We’re absolutely in love with this charming pair’s classic style, especially Chapple’s artistic touch and their ceremony and reception at Moore’s Mill Club this past June, which was the perfect setting for the garden party Chapple had dreamed of.
Chapple has a huge heart for her church community and serving others, so it only makes their story sweeter that she would meet her groom while doing something she’s so passionate about. Chapple and Bo officially met at an event for The Well House, a non-profit organization in Birmingham that fights human-trafficking and assists recovering survivors. The pair quickly became inseparable, and Bo even led Chapple to pursue another passion. Chapple loves to paint but had never openly shared her artistic ability until she met Bo. Now, she shares her paintings with the world through her Instagram @chapplepaint. Be sure and give her a follow!
One of our favorite things about the entire day was that Chapple was able to get ready at home. Her friends and family were glowing from the start, and with her two sisters, Mary Lawrence and Betsy, and her daughter, Molly Kate, by her side, (not to mention our girls from Irrelephant on beauty duty!) we knew she was in good hands. Chapple looked radiant in her stunning (and custom!) Heidi Elnora dress and was the epitome of a classic, southern bride.
The florals from Fists Full Design were quite simply, gorgeous. We loved how the white blooms amidst the greenery popped against the pale blue of the bridesmaids dresses (courtesy of Bella Bridesmaids.) This exact shade was an aspect that Chapple was certain of from the very start of the design process and we love how it all came together.
We’re suckers for meaningful details and we loved how Chapple chose to incorporate Buffalo Rock beverages, as a nod to her career. It’s always fun to infuse a little bit of your personality and guests definitely loved this special touch! And naturally, being an Auburn wedding, famous Toomer’s Lemonade and themed cookies were also in tow as wedding favors. Turns out, guests loved them so much they couldn’t help but snack on them during the reception!
The entire day couldn’t have been more comfortable, easy going, or joyful. To conclude it all, the Xtreme Party Band was the ultimate entertainment for the newlyweds to dance the night away with everyone they love most at their Auburn wedding.
Congratulations and cheers to you, Chapple and Bo, we love y’all so much!
xo, Courtney
