I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the Four Seasons Punta Mita to consider it for our destination wedding clients in 2019. What a treat that was! There is nothing quite like a Four Seasons experience and Punta Mita is an amazing location for that to shine in. Thank you to Victoria Angela Photography for the amazing photos of our stay!

When we consider destination locations for our couples, there are so many things that go into that decision. Is it a familiar spot to the bride and her family? Maybe she grew up vacationing there. Is it where the couple got engaged? Is the location itself well suited to host the style of event they are wanting to host? What experiences will your guests have once they arrive on property? This visit with the Four Seasons Punta Mita answered every question and more.

First on any list is how the travel journey to get to your destination wedding will be accomplished. I’m happy to say that finding flights into Puerto Vallarta is very easy. I was impressed with the size and ease of the airport. As expected, the Four Seasons had my transfer shuttle ready and waiting for me as soon as I walked out of the main exit. A brief 40 minute ride and I was on property at the Four Seasons Punta Mita!

We were treated to a sunset dinner our first night at one of their private villas which is large enough to accommodate a group of 80. The villa itself was a 5 bedroom/5 bathroom private getaway with beach front view that cannot be beat.

Before we started dinner, we were asked to join the director of the Four Seasons Punta Mita Sea Turtle Hatchery in releasing the brand new baby turtles into the sea. Sunset is the best time for the 8-hour old turtles to find their sea legs. What an amazing experience to see new life find the beginning of their journey!

Our second day included a stunning breakfast at a cliff side private villa. I am not exaggerating when I say that there are no bad views anywhere on the property!

From there, we got to tour some of the most unique event spaces I’ve seen anywhere. The textures and views that are afforded to your wedding backdrop at the Four Seasons Punta Mita are pristine and absolutely perfect!

Our last day on the property included a trip into Sayulida for some much needed shopping time! This beach town has all the shopping you could want. Colorful, boutique, local flavor… Such lovely people!

When we got back to the Four Seasons Punta Mita, our lovely group found the pool and their amazing drinks. The infinity pool overlooks the Pacific Ocean. A grand backdrop to a peaceful afternoon.

That evening, we had yet another culinary masterpiece served to us on the beach at sunset. I don’t think I remember being so happily full since Thanksgiving!

I don’t think I can adequately describe how wonderful my entire experience was with the Four Seasons Punta Mita. Any destination wedding couple would be well taken care of by their attentive staff and incredible culinary team. This piece of our amazing Earth is not to be missed and the Four Seasons gives you a five star experience from start to finish. I cannot wait to introduce our couples to their amazing staff.
