Alexa and Austin brought their dancing shoes and a total party vibe to Shoal Creek Country Club after their gorgeous (seriously, one of our all time favs!) ceremony at the club’s town hall. The couple met while attending the University of Alabama and had an instant connection. Alexa’s vision for her wedding consisted of serene and stunning qualities, which she definitely achieved. Perhaps the most captivating part involved a friend singing The Prayer by Andrea Bocelli as she was escorted down the aisle. This coupled with the gorgeous early evening light shining in through the windows made for the most incredibly dreamy experience.

The classic setting that Shoal Creek offers is one of our favorites.

The wonderful staff at Annabelle’s Too and Gracefully Made Art handled all paper goods. They were gorgeous!

Jessica with HotHouse Design Studio was the talent and magic behind all of the floral goodness. We especially can’t get over how fresh and springy Alexa’s bouquet was. Don’t you love the varietals that were incorporated?

The cakes were crafted by our friends at Magic Muffins. We especially loved how sophisticated Alexa’s felt and the adornments of greenery on Austin’s. The cake stands with glass toppers courtesy of PropHouse were the perfect finishing touch. 

Katie, of Be Light Photography captured everything and everyone just as they are and we all loved it! 

Creativity kept the dance floor backed all night and this crowd couldn’t have been happier about that, either! We have to admit, this was a great wedding to kick off our spring season with, because the party energy was totally electric.
