Hey y’all! I’m Invision Events new spring PR intern, Lanier! I’m so excited to be working with these talented ladies, while also showing y’all tons of trends for 2015 in these next few months!

To start my first blog post, I’ll begin with my personal favorite trend of 2015, gold. We’ve all witnessed its rise to popularity already in 2014, but this year gold weddings will be more prominent! That’s not to say that all the other colors will drift to the side. I’ll show you just a few color combinations you can add to help allow this metallic gem to shine brighter.

As I’m sure you’ve seen in a previous post, Marsala, is Pantone’s color of the year 2015. This color just screams elegance when paired with gold. Just image these colors looking so perfect with an autumn wedding. We also suggest adding copper to the mix. Copper sets the earthy tone off perfectly, like Julie previously stated in the blog. Also, by adding another light pink or blush to the palate, you can turn a fall wedding into a spring wedding instantly.

 

Another palate that is rich with wonderful sophistication is emerald and gold. My greatest and latest obsession is emerald. It can be paired with just about any color and make it look effortlessly chic. I’m sure a lot of you think about certain holidays when thinking of that color combination, but in all reality, you could pretty much use emerald and gold whenever your hearts desired. After all, it is your wedding day.

Aside from the bold color combinations, I present to you a lighter, yet perfectly pretty pairing of lavender and gold. When I usually think of lavender, I picture it corresponding with silver, since that too was a trend a few years back. But now, since 2015 is shimmering with gold, it only feels right to bring lavender into the mix.

And last, but certainly not least, is coral and gold. This vibrant duo brings everything and more for a spectacular spring/summer wedding. They instantly harmonize creating a new meaning to warm weather weddings. Any shade of coral makes the list for hottest trends paired with gold in 2015.
