What do floral crowns, a craft beer truck, and breathtaking images from Brad and Jen of Nashville’s Q Avenue Photo have in common? Well none other than Ann-Holland and Ethan’s Swann Lake Stables wedding in Birmingham, Alabama, of course!
This couple wed in March on what should have been a total wash out of a day weather wise. Instead, we were able to sneak in a beautiful and completely serene ceremony at the Cahaba River. With their closest family and friends surrounding them beneath the trees and with the sound of water rushing behind them, Ann-Holland and Ethan said their vows and celebrated their new found marriage with communion.
After the ceremony, we were able to shuttle all of the guests up to the barn before the rain (and party) started. A delicious custom menu was created by the culinary minds at Cafe Iz including an amazing spread of sweets for the groom’s table to include key lime pie shooters, caramel chocolate cake, and mini pecan pies.
This couple couldn’t be more alive and they glowed all night. The new Mr. and Mrs. Bennett, along with all of their guests, had an absolute blast dancing and singing the night away with a really awesome group of tambourine and guitar playing guys from Nashville, Johnny and the Loveseats. They are hands down one of my new all time favorite bands and they’ve just signed a record deal. In fact, Johnny let me know their first single has been picked up by radio (including Birmingham stations) so we should hear them sometime this fall.
Ann-Holland and Ethan, thank you for being so cool and for allowing us to serve you on such a special day. I hope y’all enjoyed every minute together in Costa Rica. Hashtag BennettForever!
