Crawford & Troy: A Neutral Inspired Iron City Wedding

This past February, we transformed Iron City Birmingham into an airy, romantic and organic inspired getaway for Crawford & Troy. Neutral tones accentuated the scenery, complimented by flourishing, green and white florals and a refined aesthetic. Crawford’s dreams came to life in a day filled with joy, beautiful simplicity, and lots and lots of love and in the process, we were given the gift of getting to know one of the most wonderful families we’ve ever had the pleasure of serving.

The day began at the gorgeous Grand Bohemian in Mountain Brook with Molly and Joanna of Irrelephant on beauty duty. Crawford’s ladies were cozy and chic in light blue Lake pajamas and everyone especially loved Lola’s appearance on the wine bottles they were gifted in their welcome bags. Paper by Katie Roden at Linen & Leaf set the tone through a natural and understated design.

The best emotion filled the morning when Crawford and Troy finally got their first look. Troy adores her  in a way that most could only dream of, and the their genuine joy spread infectiously through everyone around them. The wedding party was spot on in their tuxedos and floor-length dresses and florals from Mandy Busby pulled it all together.

Following the ceremony, the wedding party arrived to the reception in style on a trolley courtesy of Rare Transportation. The reception was an oasis full of greenery and we LOVED it! All eyes were drawn to the head table, which fell underneath a mystifying structure adorned with florals and floating candles. Shout to our in house carpenter, Dallas Bunkley, for crafting this custom masterpiece by hand! Sweet Magnolia provided both the beautiful bride’s cake as well the delicious, all chocolate, groom’s cake.

The Party Jammers kicked off the night right way, the crowd was groovin’ and before we knew it, the party was in full swing! Even the father of the bride was sure to show off his musical chops and a late-night Chick-fil-A pass was the best way to cap off an incredible party. To put it straight, we simply couldn’t get enough of this group!
