DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

Our pets are truly our best friends, and for those of y’all with a four-legged companion, there is a strong chance that incorporating them into your big day is top of your list. There are several ways to include man’s best friend, even if physically having them at your wedding isn’t feasible. Today we are going to share our favorite (and super adorable!) ideas for including your pet as part of your wedding.

Signature Drinks

We’ve seen our couples incorporate their furry friends in a bunch of different ways, one of them being with signature drinks and plastic favor cups. Either with a sketch, watercolor or graphic design, placing them on something that will be used by everyone makes it feel like they’re right there with you.

Edible Treats

Wine bottles in welcome bags and donut favors as late night snacks are always a good idea! Of course, featuring your four-legged friend makes it particularly special. We especially love how Katie with Linen & Leaf sketched Crawford and Troy’s pup, Lola, to feature as a custom wine label in their welcome gifts and Amberly Shelton’s depiction of Sophie and Sebastian on stickers celebrating Devin and Ryan as a late night snack, courtesy of Cream & Flutter.

Cocktail Napkins & Tea Towels

Another example of something that will be used all night, napkins and tea towels are a cute and personal treasure that you can use long after the wedding as meaningful decor in your new home together.

Family Portraits

Possibly the most sentimental, however, would be having your sweet friend there with you during your big day and capturing them in front of the lens of your photographer. This isn’t possible for everyone, but the final product is worth it for those that are able. Can you say Christmas card?!
