I can’t believe it’s almost been exactly a year since Sara and Will got married. It was so many wonderful things that can happen in a wedding all together at once. The southern spring weather was showing off and let each piece of the wedding shine with it’s emotional connections and simple beauty.
They chose as their wedding site Will’s family home – a historic house that had recently been renovated beautifully with a large field where a beautiful tent awaited their reception. Sara, an artist in her own right, called on her artist friends (and coincidentally, Invision favorites) to bring her vision to life. Laura McCarty of Marked brought her sublime simplicity to the floral scheme while Katie Roden of Linen & Leaf designed a custom paper suite. Guests witnessed their vows on the steps of the Whatley home and joined the couple for dinner and dancing under a stunning sailcloth tent from The Event Group.
I loved the bright color combination that Sara let Laura play with. Even to the tiny floral collar for their puppy flower girl, Norma, every detail was perfectly sweet.
My sincere thanks to our vendor team. Especially to photographer Austin Gros who captured Sara and Will’s personality and love story so wonderfully. Thank you for sharing these images with us!
Sara and Will, may you enjoy celebrating your first anniversary with many smiles as you remember your perfect day. Thank you for letting us be part of it! And best wishes for so many happy anniversaries to come!
Until next time… xoxo, Julie
