I was so happy when our dear friend, Heather Durham Photography, recommended me to one of her spring clients, Mary Caroline. Mary Caroline and her mom are pretty much sweeter than sweet tea and I had so much fun figuring out and planning the final few details of her wedding at Pursell Farms with them. It was a fantastic way to kick off our spring wedding season in Birmingham!
Mary Caroline opted for a palette of soft, springy pastels which included baby pinks and blues and sweet florals by Beth Jordan and Susan Huff, one of our favorites!
The surroundings at Pursell Farms were beautiful and it was so great that everyone could stay on site and get ready on property. The boys in one cabin, the girls in another, and family sprinkled in between.
The weather held off and Mary Caroline and Forrest were able to be married outside by a longtime family friend with the mountains as their backdrop. They then enjoyed a night of celebrating with music by Blue Denim and two delicious cakes by Olexa’s under a fabulous tent set-up from Special Events – A Gameday Tent Company.
Congrats you two! I hope the Virigin Islands treated you well!
