Oh how I love this wedding. I got the pleasure of working with Julie and Ryan more than a year before their March 2015 wedding day. I couldn’t have loved this sweet bride more. Not only do we share a name (which immediately makes me happy), but her way of caring about people and specifically everyone involved in her wedding was the most precious breath of fresh air. Although, it was seeing Julie and Ryan together that made me fall in love with love all over again.
Julie had visions of an April wedding date to begin with. But, schedules around town just didn’t allow for that perfect date and a late March wedding was set. It really worked out for the best because they were blessed with gorgeous weather while our April weather left much to be desired. We decided to call her design scheme “spring shabby chic”. Punches of coral color accented her sweet ceremony setting at Auburn United Methodist Church and reception at Moores Mill Club.
We joined forces with Lisa Thorne of Thorne and Thistle Designs to bring the vision to life. A soft palate let the coral color come out. A gorgeous cake from Sweet Malisa’s was paired with one of my favorite aspects of the wedding details: a groom’s breakfast table featuring Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup to go along with the new Mr. and Mrs. Butterworth. It was perfect!
Major thanks go to Cameron Freshwater of CWF Photography for capturing the day so well and for sharing these beautiful images with us. You are such a pleasure to work with Cameron!
Julie and Ryan, I can’t adequately put into words how much you both have touched my life. Your commitment to building a strong and lasting marriage is just one of the reasons I love you! I couldn’t be happier that you were brought into my life!
Until next time… XOXO, Julie
